We’re proudly dog-friendly too, welcoming up to three well-behaved dogs, so your four-legged family members can enjoy the adventure right alongside you.
Our unique location sits beside one of Britain’s rare chalk streams, the River Tud — a 17-mile waterway known for its crystal-clear flow and thriving wildlife. Protected species, including white-clawed crayfish and wild trout, make their home here, a testament to the area’s unspoiled environment.
Step outside and you’ll find Snakes Hill Wood, 15.64 acres of enchanting woodland cared for by the Woodland Trust. Wander among broadleaf trees like beech, wild cherry, hornbeam, chestnut, sycamore, and oak. Visit in mid-April and you’ll see the woodland floor carpeted with vibrant bluebells — a sight worth the trip alone.
